This section explains how Super Administrators can create and manage the welcome post that appears for new users. The welcome message helps set the tone, provide guidance, and introduce learners to the platform experience from their first login.
Click on your dropdown arrow on the right hand corner and select Edit Login Screen.
The following screen will appear.
Edit Home Page
In the home and login page, you are provided with 3 different content blocks which you can edit.
On the right hand top corner of editable blocks, click on the pen icon to start editing the content. Once the edit is done, click on save icon to save your changes.
Edit Company Title
Here you can provide the name of your company or anything that describes your learning platform.
Add a Company Description
Here you can provide more details about your company and its offering. You can use wysiwyg editor to format your content like changing font family, size and color. You can also add tables, and hyperlink your text.
The first welcome message users see (in the popup and newsfeed) is managed in this section. To edit this post, click the pen icon.
Add Company Media
Here you can embed images or video content which will help you add rich media content that provide more information about your business. Click on the image or video icon to upload your media content. In case of videos, you will need to provide the URL of your video from YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, Vine, Dailymotion or Youku.
Edit the Footer
To edit the footer as Super Admin, scroll down to the bottom of any page, click the pen icon, make changes and then click save.
Edit the About Section
To edit the about page, click on the About option from the top menu bar.
Similar to Home page, About page provides 3 content blocks which you can edit. By default, the description content block contains a standard text block that provides hyperlink to the LogIn and Registration page.
Courses
This is a dynamically created page where you are not required to make any edit. The default settings should be good enough for you to get started. However, any changes you make on your Course Section in the portal will be reflected here.
The course page will list all the courses which are public to the visitors. In the course builder section, only courses which have “searchable” are visible here. If you don’t want any of your courses to be visible in this list, the only way to do that is by disabling the “searchable” option.
Search Options : This provides a standard search user interface for users to search for courses based on tutor name, learning titles, skills, delivery mode and location.
It also must be mentioned that any public courses which are visible in the Courses section will also have their own public page link which you can share. This will allow you to share your course directly with your learners.
Edit Contact details
Similarly, the contact page also provides 3 editable content blocks. Using similar steps like in the Home and About page, you can edit the content and save your changes.
Edit Registration Page
Registration page also has similar content blocks as home, about, and contact page.
